Introduction

The energy transition that will be necessary to guarantee us a sustainable world involves involves the development of new sustainable functional materials. The GDR MEETICC, which combines theoreticians and experimentalists, Solid State Physics and Chemistry and Materials Physics and Chemistry, is one of the places where such breakthrough materials can emerge, leading for example to more energy-efficient memories or processors, to devices that convert heat into electricity, or to efficient and sustainable electrical energy storage systems… . This research also tends to favor as much as possible the choice for more abundant and safer materials and more efficient synthesis and production techniques. The purpose of the meeting is to shed light on different families of materials with potential fruitful applications and to discuss their quantum properties. The meeting will aim to highlight the link between fundamental research and applications.

The talks, abstracts and posters will be presented in english.

This thematic meeting of the GDR MEETICC will be held on January 24 and 25, 2023 at the Collège de France in Paris.
